I photograph the places, objects and moments where light changes what we see.
Working primarily in black and white, I explore the relationship between light and darkness, structure and abstraction, familiarity and mystery. I am drawn to strong geometry, texture, unusual viewpoints and spaces that suggest something beyond the frame.
My photographs often begin with ordinary places and objects. What interests me is how light, shadow and perspective can transform them into something less familiar.
